From www.athenaweb.org : Athanasios Konstandopoulos leads a European project called Hydrosol. The project wants to realise the vision of using water as a fuel
Hydrogen has long been heralded as the clean energy carrier of the future. It could be the alternative fuel we are waiting for. The Hydrosol device was developed in Greece with partners from Britain, Denmark and Germany. It uses just solar energy and water. Thanks to the thermochemical process; Hydrosol the gas that has been isolated has a huge range of possibilities. For instance in vehicles. BMW has developed a petrol ad hydrogen vehicle. Unfortunately there are lots of technical and logistical obstacles to overcome. The fuel cell technology is nevertheless becoming a viable way to overcome some of our environmental problems.

This is the music video we made for our YMSAT integrated project (covers Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, and English). This is kinda crappy, I know. Oh well.
Wait. Let me first explain all this walking and blah..
There’s this guy that sat on this airplane, and he saw the people below.. He then got curious and jumped, only to learn that the earth is actually experiencing some environmental issues. So he sort of hallucinated and thought about positive things regarding the environment.. He then realized that he was just hallucinating and got back to the parking lot, where he faced the environmental problems. He remembered the other issues regarding the environment (such as the rejection of America and Australia to the Kyoto Protocol and environmental activists that are being ignored by the people), and then thought “Well how could we have known”, like, well how could they have known that the things they do contribute in worsening such problems. And blah.
So yeah. Enjoy!
BTW, the texts seen in this video are:
-”TEMPERATURE HITS ALL TIME HIGH” (first newspaper)
-”WORLD IS ABSOLUTELY FREE FROM ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS” (second newspaper)
-The Kyoto Protocol document (the paper handed by Joshua to Bryan)
-”Stop the Pollution! Be the Solution!” (JoEd’s placard) :]

The future for the environment on planet Earth
Professor Sir Brian Hoskins (Imperial College London and University of Reading, UK)
Abstract: The activity of humans has led, over time, to local and regional changes in their environment. However, in the latter part of the twentieth century, their impact on the global environment became apparent with the appearance of the stratospheric ozone hole and the increasing evidence for global warming. In this talk, the current status of global environmental problems will be assessed and the outlook for the rest of the twenty-first century and beyond will be discussed.

This was the final public message recorded by the late Sir Arthur C Clarke, which closed the global launch of the International Year of Planet Earth, at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 13 February 2008. In his unique style, Sir Arthur connects the local with global, and traces the influence of space exploration on the global environmental movement. He ends calling for humanity to listen to the planet’s distress call, and respond with knowledge, understanding and imagination.
