Came across this truck after school while searching for the Manly Garwood. Was sitting outside a construction site in front of this full 9m skip, so I snapped a video of it lifting it up. Also happy to say that this is my 100th video! =]

Some more footage of a Raptor in Ku-Ring-Gai, except this one is collecting the paper recycling. One of the trucks had a certain sound coming from its engine which affected the sound on the video, the quality with the truck around 5:40 was better. Warringah Greens… except this time with one of the old Volvos… some drivers referred to this as the ’shit truck’ – pretty self explanatory. There was another truck identical to this one, just with a slightly different age; both acted as spares / were used for bulk waste during Veolia’s operation in the council.

This was taken on a Monday morning, which turned out to be a busy day for each greens truck, all of which did 3 loads. This truck handled 20t by itself, literally just managing to get the last stop on! Interesting thing is that it was Winter when there shouldn’t be much to collect. This truck along with the others in the fleet don’t pack anymore, due to the engineer’s adjustments. On this you can only get a bit under 7t, atleast it still does the job

Here we have a couple of Veolia’s former Warringah side loaders working early on a Wednesday and Friday morning, collecting many 240Ls during the units run. We see truck 047 in the first and last clip, and then we see 049 throughout the rest of the video. I hope you enjoy this footage, please rate and comment. Here’s an older MJ Refuse ASL on a Volvo FL6 chassis! There were about 6 of these that took care of the garbage before Veolia took over the whole contract – just two left. Collecting the paper recycling in the units!
