One person can barely make a dent on the environment. The problem is that most people know this. But if you know this and aren’t mindful about it, and your neighbor feels the same way, and your parents, and your boss, ect. It easily adds up because everyone assumes that their negative contribution is so minor it won’t make a difference.
So try not to think of your individual impact, for that is little incentive. Rather come to a realization that too many people have this mentality, and that is the reason why slowing global warming and other environmental damages is so darn difficult.
