what percentage of fortune 500 companies have a written environmental policy?

thanks for the response but i found out the answer is 43%

I would say all of them do. There is some type of policy set in any business and to make it to the top you have to have something for everything. But it is normally just to keep within the law only. But it is there.

So I would say 100% have one.

    Every one of them, and federal, state, and municipal environmental agencies and private groups are watching to be sure that those companies live up to what they put on paper. And there’s BIG fines and even imprisonment for their executives if they don’t.

    Now, do a few companies quietly cheat a little to help the bottom line? Who can tell if a chimney lets out a little smoke after dark?
